d_u_w is an audiovisual performance exploring L-systems as score for sound and image. L-systems are a mathematical formalism proposed by biologist Aristid Lindenmayer in 1968 as a foundation for an axiomatic theory of biological development. d_u_w starts with a single seed and a set of rules that define how to grow from that seed. d_u_w is created using Packet Forth and Pure Data.
